Vannevar is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to serve as the technical owner of mission engagements. The successful candidate will work with operators, analysts, and stakeholders on national security missions, providing software solutions tailored to operational needs. This fully remote role requires travel 20-30%. Salary is competitive, ranging from $135,000 to $205,000 plus equity, along with comprehensive benefits including health insurance and unlimited PTO.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Full Stack Developer including familiarity with Postgres, Redis, S3, and React.
• Experience developing software compliant with DoD Risk Management Framework.
• Must hold an active U.S. TS Security clearance with SCI Eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and own software solutions for mission-critical use cases.
• Act as primary technical point of contact for customer stakeholders.
• Contribute hands-on code to improve product capabilities and performance.
