Job summary

Sinch is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with customer teams and deliver production-grade integrations across messaging, voice, and email APIs. You will lead complex deployments, map workflows, and define measurable success criteria.

You will use AI-enabled development tools to design scalable architectures, ensure security and compliance, and train customer engineers to operate and extend the implementation.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex technical engagements end to end.
• Ability to translate business workflows into scalable architectures.
• Experience with enterprise integration patterns and API ecosystems.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled development tools for production software.
• Understanding of security, privacy, and compliance in customer deployments.

Responsibilities

• Qualify engagements and assess technical readiness and gaps.
• Lead end-to-end technical delivery from discovery to production handoff.
• Design solutions combining Sinch APIs with customer systems.
• Build with AI-enabled tooling and maintainable code.
• Validate output for correctness, security, performance, and fit.
• Integrate deployments into customer stacks with automated tests and tooling.
• Ensure production readiness: capacity, resilience, observability, and reliability.
• Provide training and runbooks to customers for operation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with SMEs to stay current on product and market changes.
