Job summary

Oracle CSS seeks a Senior Principal Forward Deployed Engineer to lead enterprise AI data platform transformations for large clients. You will architect, modernize, and operationalize data platforms, guiding migrations from Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, and AWS to Oracle AI Data Platform.

You will partner with CIOs and engineering leaders, delivering production-ready analytics, Gen AI solutions, and reusable delivery patterns while mentoring senior engineers and shaping CSS best practices.

Qualifications

• 10-12 years designing and delivering enterprise data platforms.
• Proven experience as Forward Deployed Engineer or similar senior technical leadership role.
• Expert knowledge of Oracle AI Data Platform or equivalent cloud data platforms; experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Spark, Delta Lake, Azure, AWS.
• Deep expertise in SPARK architecture, configuration, optimization, tuning, distributed systems, and large-scale performance engineering.
• Experience migrating enterprise analytics platforms and refactoring Spark/ETL workloads from Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, AWS.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and delivery of enterprise AI Data Platform transformations.
• Design scalable data consolidation, integration, transformation, governance, and AI-ready architectures.
• Lead migrations from Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, AWS to Oracle AI Data Platform including workload assessment and modernization.
• Architect Lakehouse, Medallion Architecture, streaming, and real-time analytics solutions using OCI services.
• Provide expert-level Spark configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Build reusable migration accelerators, reference architectures, and delivery frameworks.
• Drive AI/ML data preparation pipelines, feature engineering, and governed data products.
• Partner with Product Management to influence product roadmap through field experience.
• Mentor senior engineers and establish engineering excellence across CSS.
