Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology with at least six years of related experience or training.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Proficient in AutoCAD; basic BIM understanding

Responsibilities

• Provides engineering input for proper form selection.
• Calculates loads for shoring, forming and reshoring.
• Determines member sizes and spacing.
• Ensures formwork loads fit crane capacities.
• Reviews, signs and stamps design work.
• Produces formwork and crane layout drawings and shop drawings.
• Interfaces with field to resolve drawing conflicts and safety issues.
• Oversees training and development of team members.
