Job summary

TekWissen is seeking a manufacturing laboratory professional in Sunnyvale, CA for a 12-month temporary onsite assignment. You will pack and test ion exchange media, analyze data, and ensure quality and safety compliance in a team-based lab environment.

Ideal candidates hold a chemistry-related bachelor's degree with GMP/GLP knowledge and strong documentation skills to meet production targets and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field.
• Hands-on experience working in a chemistry laboratory environment.
• Experience performing chromatography testing; familiarity with chromatography software is a plus.
• Experience working in a regulated manufacturing or laboratory environment.
• Working knowledge of GMP, GLP, QSR, ISO, and IVD regulations.
• Experience following ISO 9001 quality standards and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ability to safely work in a laboratory setting with exposure to chemicals while following all safety protocols.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw conclusions, and prepare accurate reports.
• Understanding of production schedules and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow SOPs, work instructions, and other technical documentation.
• Familiarity with commonly used laboratory and production hand tools such as wrenches, torque drivers, and tweezers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time-management abilities.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on documentation accuracy and quality compliance.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
• Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and commitment to meeting production targets and deadlines.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies (PPI) is highly desired.
