Job summary

Modular Mission Critical is seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator at our facility just north of Richmond, VA. This role will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, manage material handling, and assist with warehouse duties to support our production lines and continuous improvement efforts.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED plus 4+ years of warehouse experience, basic computer skills, and strong organizational and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 4+ years of experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be a well-organized person to maintain the warehouse and material in a clean and organized manner.
• Communication skills are a must.
• Must be able to work independently as well with others and also multitask.

Responsibilities

• Operating forklift and pallet jack on a daily basis.
• Identify and enter into DWS model, serial and manufactures numbers on material as needed.
• Put material away in a neat and timely manner.
• Secure freight in or on various types of vehicles.
• Protect material from weather and damage while being transported.
• Answer questions either through email or phone calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Must be able to read and count correctly while receiving, shipping or conducting an internal audit of all material.
• Keep all workstations, warehouse and other areas around M.C. Dean in a clean and professional manner.
• Weigh each shipment before it leaves the warehouse and write it on the pull ticket and material.
• Assist other departments with whatever is asked.
