Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Forensics - Crisis and Investigations to lead complex engagements from the McLean area within a hybrid client-facing role. You’ll work with legal counsel, internal audit, and compliance teams to investigate issues, develop practical solutions, and report findings.

The role requires 5–8 years of experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and professional designation progress (CPA/CFA/CFE). Travel and extended hours may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, law, finance, business, political science or related field.
• 5-8 years of related experience.
• Working towards CPA, CFA, or CFE designation.
• Demonstrated project management and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication with client-facing reports.
• Experience presenting findings to senior engagement teams.
• Experience guiding/junior team members in a team environment.
• Willingness to travel and work additional hours; reliable transportation recommended.

Responsibilities

• Investigate complex issues and develop practical solutions with legal counsel and compliance teams.
• Coordinate multiple workstreams and manage timelines within engagements.
• Communicate findings, risks, and recommendations to project leadership and clients.
• Partner with junior staff to ensure quality and consistency across engagements.
• Leverage technology to enhance engagement efficiency and knowledge sharing.
