Job summary

Halliwell is expanding its Engineering Services team across multiple U.S. locations and seeks Senior Forensic Structural Engineers (PE). The role focuses on forensic investigations, structural evaluations, and failure analyses of various buildings.

A PE license is required or eligible, with ~15% regional travel. Chicago focus emphasizes building envelope and roofing; other locations cover broader structural investigations. A Bachelor's degree is required; Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Forensic engineer with PE licensure or eligible to obtain licensure in the state.
• Minimum 5 years in structural analysis, evaluation and design of commercial, institutional or industrial structures.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering or Architecture.

Responsibilities

• Perform forensic investigations, structural evaluations and failure analyses.
• Prepare clear forensic engineering reports with findings and repair recommendations.
• Engage with clients, nurture relationships and support business development.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
