Job summary

Lancesoft, on behalf of a growing Broward County civil litigation firm, seeks an experienced Foreclosure Legal Assistant or Paralegal to manage a high-volume foreclosure caseload. The role requires strong organization, proactive handling of deadlines, and effective client and attorney communications from file opening to resolution.

Qualifications

• Experience in Florida civil litigation required.
• Experience handling Florida foreclosure matters required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Professional communication with clients, attorneys, court personnel, vendors.
• Ability to independently manage assignments through completion.

Responsibilities

• Open files and initiate the file-opening process with deadlines and statuses recorded.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for foreclosure matters and communicate updates.
• Coordinate with attorneys and clients on mediations, conferences, and case strategy.
• Review hearings, trials, and foreclosure sales and ensure follow-up.
• Prepare and file pleadings, notices, motions via Florida E-Filing Portal.
• Manage tasks and workflows, review dashboards, and attend weekly attorney meetings.
