Job summary

Nike is seeking a Senior Footwear Product Engineer to drive NikeSKIMS footwear product creation from brief to commercialization, collaborating with NIKE partners and SKIMS. You will guide construction, materials, processes, and cost considerations, while ensuring high quality and sustainability across sport and lifestyle products.

The role requires cross‑functional collaboration, strong communication, and travel up to 35%.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Footwear Product Creation or related field.
Minimum 3+ years in footwear manufacturing, product creation, or related areas.
Experience working with overseas manufacturing partners.
Ability to read technical drawings and 3D digital files.
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external partners.
Proficient with CAD/CAM tools, pattern engineering software, MS Office, and Miro.

Responsibilities

Drive NikeSKIMS footwear product creation from brief through commercialization.
Provide early technical guidance on construction, materials, manufacturing processes, tooling, sustainability, cost, and engineering solutions.
Identify manufacturing, sustainability, performance, quality, and costing risks early to prevent issues.
Review samples throughout product creation and commercialization with feedback for cost‑effective, high‑quality deliverables.
Develop engineering best practices to improve quality, craftsmanship, performance, and efficiency.
