Job summary

North Mississippi Health Services is seeking a Food Services Senior Lead to supervise high-quality, cost-efficient dining operations. The role ensures sanitation standards, guides staff to optimal department function, and collaborates with the Food and Nutrition Director while managing internal and external communications and reporting.

The position requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to plan daily schedules, monitor budgets, and maintain quality customer service

Qualifications

• Must be knowledgeable of Food Service Health Code Regulations and of kitchen sanitation, cleaning and security.
• Must have ability to analyze and solve basic arithmetic problems.
• Must be knowledge of receiving, storage, issuing, and inventory controls.
• Must have ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally. Must be able to speak and read English.

Responsibilities

• Leads staff to ensure safe, cost-effective, and quality food services.
• Provides positive leadership to staff to meet NMMC-WP's and F&N's goals and objectives.
• Demonstrates adherence to NMMC's Mission, Vision, and Values Statement and serves as a role model to staff.
• Assists in all written and oral communications regarding operations and schedule changes.
• Participates in training and in-service education.
• Coordinates all internal and external customer services to best meet the needs of our customers.
• Assists in compiling and submitting data and reports appropriately and on a timely basis.
• Communicates effectively and timely with all internal and external customers.
