Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in food science, microbiology, dairy science, biotechnology, engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in regulated food environments (dairy/dietary supplements).
• Experience authoring and maintaining FSP, FDP, HACCP, and Risk Management.
• Expert understanding of food microbiology, chemistry and engineering.
• PCQI certification for human food.

Responsibilities

• Subject Matter Expert and Lead for: FSP, FDP and HACCP.
• Risk Analysis, Management and Mitigation.
• Root Cause Analysis and addressing deviations and non-conformances.
• Internal and external audit lead for the Madison site.
• Liaison between operations and quality ensuring cGMP, hygienic design, sanitation effectiveness, allergen control, environmental monitoring.
• Mentor for junior QA specialists.
