Job summary

The Senior Food & Beverage Operations Manager, Aventura Catering, will lead Aramark's F&B operations at the Phoenix Convention Center, directing catering orders and special events across bars, retail and theater food service.

You will mentor the catering team, ensure events meet client expectations, drive sales and labor targets, manage budgets, and uphold safety and quality standards across all venues.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 5 years of experience in food & beverage service operations.
• Requires at least 2-4 years of experience in a management role.
• Previous experience in events and catering required.
• Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Available to work event-based hours.
• Must have excellent communications skills.
• Complete Food Handlers and Alcohol Service Certifications as required.
• Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lb.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Develop and complete catering solutions to meet customers' needs.
• Develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport.
• Deliver consistent quality in planning and carrying out events.
• Facilitate the delivery of prepared food built from banquet event orders.
• Assist clients in planning special events and providing creative solutions to clients' needs.
• Train and direct employees to ensure catering and events standards are followed.
• Provide completed Banquet Event Orders to team and handle quality assurance.
• Responsible for delivering sales, food, and labor targets and maintaining department budgets.
• Responsible for execution of events of varied sizes and scopes including staffing and management.
• Ensure accurate reporting of all operations related revenue, expenses, and receivables.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and lead operations team while meeting labor budget.
• Ensure compliance with all food, occupational and environmental safety policies.
• Oversee Catering, Bar, Retail, and Theater Managers while direct report to F&B Director, AGM, and GM.

The Senior Food & Beverage Operations Manager, Aventura Catering, is a key leadership role that is responsible for leading the F&B operations at the Phoenix Convention Center.

• Responsibilities include planning and the execution of catering orders and special events including overseeing bars, retail and theater food service operations.
• Additionally, this position will lead all aspects of and advise the catering team to implement all events in line with customer expectations.

COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.
