Responsibilities

• Lead all food and beverage operations across restaurants, bars, lounges, banquet events, pool service, and in-room dining.
• Manage revenue, labor, cost controls, and department expenses to meet budgets.
• Direct hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and succession planning for F&B staff.
• Ensure exceptional guest service and promptly resolve guest concerns.

Overview

The Senior Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for leading the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, bars, lounges, in-room dining, pool service, and banquet functions. Reporting to the Director of Culinary & Beverage Operations, this role drives exceptional guest experiences, financial performance, service excellence, and team development while ensuring compliance with company standards and luxury hospitality expectations. This leader oversees outlet performance, staffing, scheduling, revenue generation, cost controls, training initiatives, guest satisfaction, and operational readiness across all food and beverage venues.

Responsibilities

• Lead all food and beverage operations including restaurants, bars, lounges, banquet events, pool service, and in-room dining.
• Manage revenue, labor, beverage cost, food cost, and departmental expenses to achieve budgeted goals.
• Direct hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, talent conversations, and succession planning for food and beverage team members.
• Ensure exceptional guest service standards and promptly resolve guest concerns.
• Partner with Culinary, Sales, Catering, Front Office, and Operations teams to execute events and promotions.
• Monitor inventory, purchasing, receiving, and product quality standards.
• Maintain compliance with health, sanitation, alcohol service, and safety regulations.
• Analyze operational reports, guest feedback, labor productivity, and financial results to drive continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Senior Management.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field; or a 4-year college degree and at least 3 years of related experience; or a 2-year college degree and 4 or more years of related experience.
• 1 years Catering and Event experience
• Organized Labor experience preferred
• Long hours sometimes required.Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
• Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.

• Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings.
• Participate in M.O.D. coverage as required.
• Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Highgate Hotel Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing nametags.
• Comply with Highgate Hotel Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
• Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.
• Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
