Job summary

CEI is seeking a Senior Flutter Developer to support a major cruise line’s mobile app. You will own features, collaborate across teams, and deliver high-quality Flutter-based mobile solutions.

The role requires 5–8 years in mobile development and at least 1 year with Flutter, with an Agile team mindset. Hybrid work arrangement: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote, in Kissimmee/ Celebration area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5–8 years of developing mobile applications for enterprise or consumer use.
• At least 1 year of professional Flutter experience.
• Experience working in an Agile Team with product, design, QA, and development.
• Strong CS fundamentals, with attention to code quality and design patterns.
• Knowledge of Flutter with Swift or Kotlin alternatives.
• Networking such as HTTP, RFID, Bluetooth, and Socket connections.
• REST Web Services.
• Software performance optimization (memory, CPU, scaling).
• Experience sending and tracking notifications via Push, RFID, Bluetooth, or other technologies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers to design features and prioritize tasks.
• Engineer mobile solutions, code Flutter apps, fix defects, optimize performance, and deploy code.
• Coordinate releases and improve delivery/release processes.
• Partner with backend team to define data contracts.
• Own design and development of software fixes and enhancements.
• Participate in software design, coding, reviews, and architecture discussions.
• Pilot new technologies in the software stack.
• Collaborate across product, design, and other teams to solve problems.
• Suggest process and tech improvements to boost team effectiveness.
