Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight! A successful candidate will understand fluid systems, fluid dynamics, and compressible and incompressible flow for space vehicles. The position will work under a senior engineer accountable for the helium system within the Gas and Thrusters (G&T) team for a Lunar Vehicle. You will be responsible for design, analyses, procurement, installation, and test of the components and sub-assembly systems for the helium subsystem. The position will be responsible for valves, bottles, filters, sensors, piping and other fluids equipment for this portion of the helium subsystem. Our team will size, select materials, and analyze components for structural integrity due to pressure, vibration, fracture, fatigue, etc. You will work with suppliers or Blue Origin groups to identify components and support procurement, fabrication, and installation. You will also manage the project plan for various hardware including cost and schedule for your sub-assembly. The position will work directly on our Transfer Stage Vehicle and will be on the ground floor of our operations and buildup at our Rocket Park Facility in Florida.
