Job summary

RTX in Andover, MA is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer – Flight Test Mission Lead for Patriot programs. This onsite role requires U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance.

You will plan, execute, and report flight test missions, coordinate readiness, develop scenarios, run simulations, and manage travel logistics up to 10% travel. Qualifications

• Degree in STEM with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with system integration and/or system testing.
• Ability to generate test plans, procedures, and technical reports.
• Preferred: radar and/or system-level performance data analysis experience.
• Preferred: integration lab/test facility or field support experience.
• Preferred: planning/executing system-level test events.
• Preferred: interfacing with customers and using MATLAB or data-analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead flight test mission planning, execution, and reporting.
• Perform test planning and readiness assessments.
• Develop scenarios, run simulations, and conduct hardware‑in‑loop trials.
• Coordinate with analysts to ensure pre‑mission data is analyzed and presented.
• Collaborate with the Patriot Flight Test Lead to identify resources for test events.
• Identify and coordinate travel team members, provide required briefings, access, and permissions, and manage travel logistics.
• Travel as needed (up to 10%) domestically and internationally to support mission execution.
