Insider, Inc. is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to support the design and certification efforts of their all-electric vertical takeoff aircraft based in San Jose, California. This role requires 7+ years of experience in electrical design and a B.S. in Engineering.

The ideal candidate will assist in the installation design for flight test instrumentation and work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely project completion. Compensation for this position ranges from $186,240 to $232,800 based on skills and experience.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as Electrical Design Engineer or Instrumentation Engineer.
• Experience in designing and installing wiring for flight.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Support the Design and Certification Efforts of Archer’s eVTOL aircraft project.
• Perform Electrical Installation Design for flight test instrumentation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to establish a comprehensive instrumentation plan.
