Qualifications

• Experience as flight engineer or instructor on heavy multiengine aircraft is preferred.
• Secret clearance is required.
• Knowledge of major aircraft systems for heavy multiengine aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and perform flight crew work supporting heavy multiengine aircraft.
• Assist the pilot in preflight planning and during flights.
• Compute fuel, cargo weight, and balance; monitor takeoff/landing performance.
• Maintain records of flight operations and equipment.
• Assist in hoist operations and external cargo handling.
