Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair FedEx vehicle fleet and ground support equipment. You will document work and manage inventory using FedEx systems, and ensure compliance with OSHA and DOT standards.

You will guide technicians and trainees, work with a safety-conscious team, and be part of a dynamic maintenance operation at FedEx locations in Reno, NV.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Vocational automotive training preferred; ASE Master certification preferred.
• Four years of fleet/automotive repair and maintenance experience required.
• Welding and basic DC electrical troubleshooting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs and modifications on FedEx vehicle fleet and ground support equipment.
• Document work and maintain inventory using FedEx computer systems.
• Ensure work complies with OSHA and DOT standards.
• Guide and support technicians and trainees as needed.
