Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Six years of related experience.
  • Basic knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems.
  • Ability to conduct training classes; multitask and work well with others; strong interpersonal skills.
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License (Commercial Class B).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and perform field inspections on equipment, verify maintenance, vehicle records and inventory.
  • Develop and maintain troubleshooting processes for vehicle issues and evaluate repair options.
  • Ensure maintenance records and repair documentation are kept for all vehicles and equipment.
  • Identify recurring equipment issues and recommend training, maintenance, or fleet orders.
  • Conduct equipment and vehicle related training.
  • Evaluate and prioritize fleet and equipment replacement.
  • Serve as unit instructor for transport operations courses.
  • Prepare and maintain narrative and statistical reports related to TFS vehicles.
  • Support and participate in emergency response.
