Job summary

Maven Robotics, Inc. is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to lead software and services for safe, reliable operation of large robot fleets across customer facilities. Role spans data pipelines to operator-facing interfaces.

You will design back-end services, develop real-time data pipelines, and build front-end apps for operators and Maven engineers, collaborating with Field Operations, IS, DevOps, MLOps and Platform teams.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years full-stack software development experience.
• Experience building data-intensive web apps with streaming data sources.
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks like React.
• Knowledge of real-time data pipelines and cloud databases.
• Ability to own a large, important development project and deliver.
• Willingness to assist other teams under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement back-end services to keep a large robot fleet running efficiently.
• Integrate with customer systems and manage software updates.
• Provide real-time fleet orchestration, provisioning, and health monitoring.
• Develop data pipelines for secure real-time streaming between robots, edge devices and cloud services.
• Implement on-robot software for secure teleoperation and assignment execution.
• Create intuitive front-end web applications for operators, managers, and engineers.
