Job summary

The Delaware River and Bay Authority (DRBA) is seeking a Maintenance Senior Journeyman-Fleet Mechanic at Delaware Memorial Bridge in New Castle, DE. You will perform expert maintenance on fleet vehicles and related equipment, lead projects, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires seven years of craft experience, apprenticeship training, and a Class A CDL with tanker endorsement within six months. ASE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant craft experience.
• Seven (7) years of craft field experience; ten (10) years preferred.
• Vocational training including an approved registered apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert maintenance on fleet vehicles and related systems.
• Troubleshoot complex automotive/diesel issues and lead project tasks.
• Perform preventive maintenance and supervise assigned personnel as needed.
• Respond to emergency calls 24/7 and ensure safety protocols.
