Join our firmware validation team as a Test Architect focused on building robust, automation ready test flows that validate firmware across boot and runtime. You will collaborate closely with SoC, firmware, and validation architects to define firmware test strategies and coverage goals. Implement end-to-end tests that can run on either simulated (pre-silicon) and real (post-silicon) environments. The primary focus will be on AMD server-class products EPYC CPUs and Instinct GPUs for data center and enterprise markets. AI-first engineering is a core expectation for this role. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to effectively leverage generative AI, engineering copilots, automation agents, and data-driven tools to improve productivity, accelerate validation, enhance quality, and drive innovation across the firmware verification lifecycle
You are a pragmatic problem solver who enjoys digging into firmware and platform behavior, building repeatable tests, and collaborating to close test gaps and bugs fast. You think in terms of reproducible results and automation, take pride in clear triage artifacts, and communicate effectively with architects, validation engineers, and software teams.You are willing to challenge the status quo to find smarter, higher leverage ways to validate firmware and systems features (including exploring AI assisted tooling and test generation).
Bachelor's or master's degree in related discipline preferred
