Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to advance data center server firmware for CSP deployments, including hardware bring-up, OOB firmware, and protocol stacks. You will work at the intersection of hardware and software to enable next-gen Datacenter platforms.

The role requires 8–12 years in system software, deep experience with Redfish/IPMI/PLDM/MCTP, and strong C/C++ in embedded environments; collaboration with CSPs essential.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of system software development experience.
• Deep expertise in data center server architectures and hardware-software co-design.
• Proven track record shipping production BMC solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Redfish, IPMI, PLDM, MCTP, SPDM and telemetry frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop firmware solutions for manageability and observability of data center servers.
• Participate in hardware bring-up activities, OOB firmware development, protocol stacks (Redfish, PLDM, MCTP, NSM) and HW-SW co-design for CSP deployments.
• Debug and troubleshoot GPU firmware issues, power management, performance, and thermal control for data center deployments; provide CSP support.
• Partner with CSPs to deliver technical solutions and co-develop features and optimizations; support during new product introductions.
• Perform advanced system debugging, root cause analysis, and performance optimization for large-scale data center environments.
• Collaborate with AE, FAE, and Solution Architect teams to deliver integrated customer solutions and documentation.
