Job summary

Lattice Semiconductor seeks an experienced Senior Firmware Engineer with strong UEFI and ARM reference design expertise to design, develop, and bring up firmware on new hardware platforms.

You will lead porting efforts, assist in power-on debugging, and collaborate with hardware teams to ensure robust platform initialization and secure boot integration. A bachelor’s degree and 7+ years in firmware are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in firmware, embedded systems, or platform bring-up roles.
  • Strong expertise in UEFI firmware development and platform porting.
  • Proven experience in board bring-up and power-on debugging for new hardware platforms.
  • Solid understanding of ARM architecture and boot flows.
  • Working knowledge of ARM SCP Firmware and Trusted Firmware-A (TF-A).
  • Proficiency in C language and low-level firmware development.
  • Experience with hardware debugging tools.

  • Create technical documentation for firmware design, bring-up procedures, and debug guidelines.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Firmware Engineer with strong expertise in UEFI, and ARM reference design, firmware components to design, develop, and bring up firmware on new hardware platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and debug UEFI firmware for system bring-up and production platforms

Required Skills & Qualifications
