Job summary

Onyx is seeking firmware engineers for various organizations within clean energy, robotics, AI, and additive manufacturing. Candidates should have skills in modern C++ or low level C, with experience in mission-critical systems and electrical engineering fundamentals.

Roles will be primarily based in Southern California or San Francisco, providing opportunities to work on impactful technology in a rapid manufacturing environment.

General skills we're looking for:

• Modern C++ or low level C experience on mission/safety critical systems
• EE fundamentals (board bring up, rudimentary design, schematics layout)
• Exposure to mission critical hardware that has a tangible impact on humanity in some measurable way
• Ideally been in a rapid/rate manufacturing environment

Roles span across the country but are primarily within SoCal/SF.
