Job summary

SSD Alarm is looking for experienced Fire and Security Systems Technicians to join our Englewood, CO team. The role involves installation and service of security and fire alarms, CCTV, and access control, with strong customer-facing communication and problem solving.

Ideal candidates have at least three years of experience in security systems, a valid driver’s license, and comfort with MS Office and networking basics.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' experience in Security, Fire Alarms, CCTV, and Access Control Systems
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic networking knowledge
• Ability to read construction plans and interpret codes
• Knowledge of applicable local, state and federal codes
• Experience with Alarm systems and access control platforms (Lenel/S2)
• Proficiency with Notifier or similar fire alarm equipment
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Install and/or service Security and Fire Alarms, Access Control, and CCTV
• Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers and subcontractors to solve problems
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Organize workload efficiently and work with urgency
