Jensen Hughes is seeking a Mid to Senior Fire Protection Engineer to join our Las Vegas, NV team. The role involves direct client interaction and performing technical work as a Seller Doer, including building plan reviews and fire code analyses.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in building and fire code consulting, plus the ability to coordinate with design teams and deliver innovative protection strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering (preferably Fire Protection).
• Four (4) years of professional Fire Protection Consulting experience.
• Experience with building code and fire code consulting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Doer Seller mindset with client connections.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and implement a wide variety of consulting projects.
• Satisfy client needs and expectations by completing tasks on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate and conduct building and fire code reviews and analyses, including plan reviews.
• Prepare and peer review of project-related technical reports.
• Develop fire protection strategies, performance-based design approaches, and alternative solutions.
• Effectively communicate with project team members, clients, and others.
