NV5 is seeking a Fire Protection Engineering Consultant to join our nationwide team, delivering solutions and improving lives from home when possible. You will collaborate with AHJs and clients to ensure projects are compliant and completed as scheduled.
Responsibilities include working with engineering and design on projects, creating client reports on fire protection updates, and staying current with codes and standards to ensure reliable life-safety systems. Travel up to 50% across US/Canada.

As a Fire Protection Engineering Consultant, you will be responsible for customer-facing project work. This key position works closely with AHJ’S and clients to ensure projects are compliant and being completed as expected. The right candidate for this position can meet the required deadlines and communicate effectively with customers and jurisdictional authorities. Must be organized, detail oriented, highly motivated and able to work independently and efficiently from home

Due to project locations and travel requirements, candidates need to be within 1 hour of a major US airport.
The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $175,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional compensation will include performance-based bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package covering medical, dental, PTO, 401(k), unlimited FTO (Flexible Time Off) and professional development opportunities.
