Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking a Fire Alarm Service Sr Technician to perform advanced service and maintenance on fire alarm systems. You will diagnose complex issues, complete service calls and projects with minimal supervision, and interpret technical drawings to ensure compliance with codes and company policies.

You will mentor entry-level technicians and travel to diverse job sites, including commercial and industrial settings, while maintaining a strong safety focus and customer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5+ years in fire and life safety.
• NICET Level II or higher preferred; licenses as required by jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and service of fire alarm systems independently.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex system issues and implement solutions.
• Complete service calls and project work with minimal supervision.
• Interpret system drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Provide guidance and training to entry-level technicians.
• Travel to job sites and work in commercial/industrial environments.
