Job summary

Step is seeking a senior product leader to own the end-to-end development of a core consumer product area, from identifying customer problems through launch, iteration, and scale.

You will shape product strategy and roadmaps while balancing customer experience, business performance, growth, risk, and regulatory requirements, collaborating with design, engineering, data science, legal, compliance, operations, marketing, and finance. AI tools will accelerate discovery and delivery.

Qualifications

• At least eight years of product management experience, preferably with consumer fintech or mobile products.
• Strong analytical ability with experience using analytics tools to drive decisions.
• Practical day-to-day use of AI tools to speed up product work.

Responsibilities

• Define product vision and strategy with leadership, linking customer needs to business objectives.
• Own the roadmap from problem definition through launch, iteration, and scaling.
• Use analytics, user research, and market trends to identify valuable features and experiments.
• Write clear product specifications covering objectives, proposed solution, and success metrics.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to build, launch, and scale products.
• Track product performance and refine the customer experience based on evidence.
• Explain tradeoffs between growth, risk, and compliance to stakeholders.
• Use AI tools to improve consumer experiences and accelerate business outcomes.
