Job summary

Unknown is seeking a data engineer to build reliable ELT/ETL pipelines and cost‑focused data products in cloud environments. You will design scalable data flows and optimize data movement across cloud platforms.

Responsibilities include developing automation for cloud cost transparency and optimization, collaborating with teams using AWS, GCP, Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Terraform, and CI/CD to deliver efficient, auditable data solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL, Python, Spark, Scala, AWS, GCP, and Snowflake experience.
• Experience with dbt/Airflow, Terraform, CI/CD, and REST APIs.
• Remote contract experience and ability to work across time zones.
