Motion Recruitment is seeking a Senior Financial Systems Engineer to join our technology team in a hybrid Chicago environment (3 days onsite, 2 remote). The role supports enterprise financial applications, system integrations, reporting, and data integrity, leveraging Elite 3E, Boomi, SQL, APIs, and related platforms.

The ideal candidate will partner with accounting and business stakeholders to drive high-impact system improvements, combining technical expertise with business process knowledge

Qualifications

• 5+ years of financial or accounting systems experience.
• Experience within the legal industry.
• Expertise supporting Elite 3E.
• Experience with Intapp Time and/or Emburse Enterprise.
• Boomi integration experience.
• SQL development and stored procedures.
• API integration knowledge.
• Requirements gathering and business analysis experience.
• Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize financial applications (Elite 3E, Intapp, Emburse).
• Develop and maintain SQL queries and database procedures.
• Lead testing, documentation, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with team and business stakeholders on projects.
