McDonald’s Corporate Controller Group is seeking a Senior, Financial Reporting to join our team. This role offers a strong path to deepen understanding of McDonald’s global business and build relationships across finance functions.

You will manage monthly close activities, consolidate results, and prepare materials for executive leadership in a fast-paced environment. The position emphasizes collaboration with Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations, Legal, and external auditors, while driving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance required.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting/financial services, public experience preferred.
• Outstanding analytical abilities and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, consolidate and report monthly financial information for actual and projected results.
• Create key monthly/quarterly reports for top management.
• Own SEC reporting functions including earnings release, filings and schedules.
• Prepare materials for executive meetings (Board of Directors, Senior Leadership).
• Collaborate with global markets, Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations, Legal, and auditors.
• Assist in ad hoc research related to new FASB standards and business initiatives.

The McDonald’s Corporate Controller Group’s Accounting and Reporting group currently has an excellent opportunity for an Senior, Financial Reporting to join our team. This position offers a tremendous opportunity for an individual to gain an understanding of McDonald’s Corporation and our global business.Collaborative, team-oriented culture with expectations of the individual building strong relationships with our key customers. This position calls for an individual who is results-driven with strong organizational skills that can manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines. Our environment is fast-paced and going through change, requiring the candidate to be able to help drive efficiencies.

Duties

• Analysis, consolidation and reporting of monthly financial information for actual and projected results
• Creation of critical standard monthly/quarterly reports for use by Top Management
• Ownership of various SEC reporting functions, including populating financial results for the earnings release and quarterly/annual filings, drafting supporting schedules, compiling and analyzing annual reporting packages, and assisting in filing procedures
• Preparation of materials for key Executive meetings, including the Board of Directors and Senior Leadership Team
• Collaboration with various stakeholders across global markets, Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations, Legal, internal and external auditors, etc.
• Assist in preparation of ad hoc research requests from management and key customers related to new FASB standards and business initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance
• 3+ years of experience in the accounting industry and/or in financial services, public experience preferred
• Outstanding analytical abilities and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Results-driven individual
• Strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams
• Initiative and creativity in finding efficiencies
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and able to quickly learn other software applications necessary to complete daily tasks
