Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a knowledgeable financial planning support professional to assist LPL advisors. You will handle inbound inquiries, provide clear guidance on planning concepts, and coordinate with internal resources to deliver optimal planning support.

Requirements include a CFP designation and 5+ years in financial services, with excellent communication and research skills. Proficiency in MS Office and planning software is expected, with a willingness to learn new tools.

Qualifications

• CFP® designation required.
• 5+ years of experience in financial services, ideally related to financial planning.
• Grasp of financial planning concepts.
• Communication skills are required.
• Ability to ask good questions and listen to understand.
• Ability to communicate complex planning concepts clearly and concisely both orally and written.
• Familiarity with planning software is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls and emails from LPL financial advisors and staff, guiding them on planning concepts and strategies.
• Research complex planning questions using references and team support, and share findings with advisors.
• Connect advisors with the right partners (LPL or external) to ensure they get support.
• Refer advisors to relevant planning support such as Practice Management Coaching, Case Consulting, and Paraplanning.
