Job summary

CMC Recruiting is assisting a boutique wealth management firm in Massachusetts seeking an experienced wealth manager to serve as the primary relationship manager for an established client base. You will lead client meetings, deliver long-term financial planning, and collaborate with tax, investment, and operations teams to provide a seamless experience.

Qualifications

  • 7-10+ years in wealth management or comprehensive financial planning.
  • CFP designation or actively pursuing completion.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain required registrations and licenses.
  • Strong grasp of financial planning concepts and wealth management strategies.
  • Tax-aware planning experience desired.
  • Comfortable working with high-net-worth clients.
  • Excellent communication and high emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to cultivate referrals through trusted client relationships, without cold prospecting.
  • Flexible, entrepreneurial, and team-oriented.

$110,000 - $150,000 base salary, depending on experience

The ideal candidate is an experienced wealth management professional who is energized by client relationships and takes pride in helping people make better financial decisions.

Qualifications
  • 7-10+ years of experience in wealth management or comprehensive financial planning
  • CFP designation or actively working toward completion
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required industry registrations and licenses
  • Strong understanding of financial planning concepts and wealth management strategies
  • Experience with tax-aware planning is highly desirable
  • Comfortable working with high-net-worth individuals and families
  • Strong communication skills and high emotional intelligence
  • Ability to ask for and cultivate referrals through trusted client relationships without relying on cold prospecting
  • Flexible and adaptable with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Team-oriented and client-focused, with the ability to partner effectively across functions
