Job summary

Mercer Advisors is seeking a Senior Financial Planner I to join the Financial Planning Group. You will build comprehensive plans, partner with advisor teams, and deliver an exceptional client experience while developing planning capabilities.

Candidates should be detail-oriented, process-driven, and capable of working with a range of planning tools. Within this role you may travel up to 20% and will contribute to ongoing enhancements in client service and planning methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; CFP/FPQP or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
• CFP exam passed or FPQP/master's in financial planning is required/strongly preferred.
• Minimum 6 years client-facing experience in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Support advisors through all planning stages: prep, updates, delivery, and implementation.
• Create comprehensive financial plans using eMoney and analyze portfolios with Morningstar/Orion.
• Collaborate with advisor teams to deliver accurate, timely client experiences.
• Uncover client needs and present suitable financial solutions.
• Mentor teammates and help improve planning procedures for efficiency.
• Travel up to 20% as needed for client meetings.
