Job summary

CrossCountry Consulting is seeking a Financial Due Diligence professional in New York City. Join a growing advisory practice delivering Quality of Earnings analyses, working with private equity and lenders, and presenting findings to client executives.

You will leverage Excel, Power BI, and Alteryx to analyze complex transactions, mentor junior staff, and collaborate across teams. Onsite three days per week, you’ll help drive high-quality insights and value for clients.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in audit and/or financial due diligence.
• Experience issuing Quality of Earnings reports with Adjusted EBITDA, NWC and Net Debt.
• Experience with target company CFOs/Controllers and Private Equity Partners.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial statement analysis.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI and Alteryx are a plus.
• Comfort with AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation; continuous learning mindset.
• Ability to work onsite in New York City three days per week.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial due diligence for buy-side and sell-side transactions, including Quality of Earnings.
• Review and interpret financial statements under GAAP and other standards.
• Develop client deliverables with detailed Excel analyses and PowerPoint summaries.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously with timely, accurate deliverables.
• Collaborate with CFOs, Controllers, and Private Equity Partners to gather data and insights.
• Utilize advanced Excel, Power BI and Alteryx to synthesize data and identify trends.
• Contribute to AI-enabled solutions compliant with data protection and IP policies.
• Stay informed on emerging AI tools and collaborate with leadership on opportunities.
• Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative, inclusive environment.
