Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Six years of Sponsored Projects Accounting (Grants & Contract) experience OR eight years of related work experience with background in accounting, auditing, risk assessment or regulatory compliance.
• Three years of supervisory oversight of personnel.
• Experience with computer systems, including spreadsheet software (MS Office).
• Knowledge of federal regulations and Uniform Guidance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, research and implement a financial compliance monitoring program for the campus sponsored projects.
• Collaborate with IRIS team to develop reports and programming changes to improve compliance.
• Develop and revise policies and procedures to mitigate non-compliance risks.
• Manage external sponsor audits and coordinate documentation and reports.
• Lead a team of two compliance officers and conduct performance appraisals.
