Title: Senior Financial Analyst – Supply Chain Location: Stamford, CT or Las Vegas, NV Job Type: Full Time | Exempt

Who You Are

You have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, with direct experience supporting procurement, supply chain, or similar operational environments. You understand how sourcing decisions, supplier costs, inventory, and purchasing trends impact financial performance. You're analytical, detail-oriented, and confident working with complex financial data to identify cost‑saving opportunities, improve forecasting, and influence business decisions. You enjoy building financial models, challenging assumptions, and partnering with cross‑functional leaders to turn data into actionable insights. You bring a proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset and are comfortable taking ownership of financial analysis in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.

What You’ll Do

As a Senior Financial Analyst – Supply Chain on Curaleaf's Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, you’ll serve as a key financial partner to our national Procurement and Supply Chain teams. You’ll lead financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting efforts across sourcing, purchasing, and inventory operations, helping leadership better understand cost drivers, evaluate opportunities, and make informed business decisions. You will:

  • Lead purchase price variance (PPV) analysis and price forecasting across direct and indirect spend categories, identifying key cost drivers and financial impacts.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate sourcing strategies, supplier costs, and opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Partner with Procurement to track, validate, and report cost savings initiatives, ensuring accurate measurement of realized savings.
  • Analyze supplier cost structures, contract terms, commodity pricing, and inflation trends to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Build financial business cases for sourcing decisions, including make-versus‑buy analysis, supplier consolidation, and dual‑sourcing strategies.
  • Partner with Supply Chain and Inventory teams to analyze inventory movements, cost trends, and their impact on financial performance.
  • Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for Procurement and Supply Chain operations.
  • Lead variance analysis and performance reporting, identifying key drivers of cost of goods sold (COGS) and opportunities to improve profitability.
  • Develop and track financial and operational KPIs, translating complex data into meaningful reports and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Operations, and Commercial teams to improve financial visibility and support strategic decision‑making.
  • Support COGS improvement initiatives through financial analysis, savings validation, and ongoing performance tracking.
  • Build and improve financial reporting tools, models, and processes to increase data accuracy, automation, and efficiency.
  • Present financial findings, recommendations, and performance trends to leadership, providing actionable insights that influence business decisions.
What You’ll Bring
  • 3+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), procurement finance, supply chain finance, or a related financial analysis role.
  • Direct experience supporting procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or similar operational functions, with an understanding of how purchasing decisions, supplier costs, and inventory impact financial performance.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, variance analysis, and financial performance reporting.
  • Experience analyzing purchase price variance (PPV), supplier costs, procurement spend, or cost of goods sold (COGS).
  • Strong Excel skills and a solid understanding of financial statements, cost accounting principles, and financial reporting.
  • Experience working with large datasets and financial reporting, ERP, or business intelligence systems.
  • Ability to independently analyze complex financial and operational data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and partner effectively with cross‑functional leadership.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach with the confidence to challenge assumptions, influence decisions, and take ownership of financial initiatives.
Even Better If
