Job summary

Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Finance team. You will develop financial models, analyze performance, and advise on budgeting and forecasting activities to support strategic decisions.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, a Finance degree (MBA a plus), and strong skills in Excel, Power BI, and SQL for data extraction and reporting. Hospitality or gaming experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance required; MBA a plus.
3–5 years’ experience as a financial analyst; hospitality or gaming preferred.
Strong analytical, communication, and people management skills.
Advanced MS Office, financial modeling, and BI reporting tools; SQL queries for data extraction.

Responsibilities

Coordinates with management to gather, analyze, summarize and prepare recommendations on financial plans, acquisition activity, and forecasts.
Assists in annual forecasting and budgeting processes and other business initiatives.
Prepares standard analytical reports including ratio analysis and key metrics at month-end.
Analyzes financial information to determine present and future performance and identify trends and improvements.
Researches and prepares economic and statistical reports on topics such as rate of return, depreciation, cash flow, and profit margins.
Performs analysis on events and promotions for management.
