Amazon’s NACF Finance is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support operational and functional leaders across the North America network. You will build financial models, own reporting, and translate KPIs into financial impact to drive cost controllership and process improvements.

This role partners with site leaders and business partners in Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering and HR to deliver insights, ROI analyses, and data-driven recommendations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field, or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience.
• Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence

The NACFinance team vision is to provide cost controllership, projects return on investment (ROI), and financial insights for end-to-end defect reduction processes and initiatives across supply chain. Our team supports various North America teams through translating operational KPIs into financial impact to ensure our stakeholders have the most up to date and reliable information to make the best possible decision for Amazon. Key job responsibilities

Business Finance Support

Use solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models and analyze business problems with limited guidance.

Controllership

Own the financial reporting for a business area and may supervise or teach others in areas of financial reporting. Identify and solve complex data integrity issues and collaborate with stakeholders on resolution, insisting on the highest standards. Develop and execute data analysis processes that are scalable and auditable.

Communication

Intuitively utilize active listening skills to communicate data (both written and verbal) in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner. Adjusting your style based on audience, to articulate complex finance issues. Create effective business partnership with Site Leaders, manage competing priorities, and provide guidance during unexpected events. Draw conclusions and make recommendations that deliver results and drive improvements. Independently align financial and operational analyses with your business partners, challenging business partner assumptions when necessary. Proactively identify opportunities to resolve finance defects and improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes across teams and organizations.

About The Team

This role will partner closely with a broad range of Senior Leaders in Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Procurement, Accounting, HR and Technology. This role plays a critical role as a financial advocate and business partner. This role will design, develop, and maintain performance measurements and reporting on strategic input drivers to continuously improve the economics of the business.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• 3+ years of finance, tax or a related analytical field experience
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field, or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience
• Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
• Experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes
• Can demonstrate strong numerical and analytical skills
• 3+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
