Job summary

Amazon’s North American External Fulfilment Finance team is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support operational and functional leaders across multiple networks. You will build models, drive performance with financial metrics, and automate reporting to enable rapid decision making in a fast‑growing environment.

You will collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain, use SQL, Advanced Excel, and BI tools to design scalable reporting, and partner with leaders to identify savings,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related analytical field.
• 3+ years of tax, finance or related analytical field experience.
• Experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).
• Advanced or master's degree in finance, economics, or mathematics (MBA, CMA, CA, CWA).

Responsibilities

• Build models and analyses with Finance and Operations partners.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve finance tools and processes.
• Provide analysis to leaders to support operational and growth decisions.
• Deliver planning and cost planning for the network.
• Collaborate with operations to drive productivity and cost savings.
• Ensure accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly results reporting.
• Lead financial review meetings with partner groups.
• Solve data integrity issues with stakeholders.
• Develop scalable data analysis processes.
• Communicate data clearly to diverse audiences.
