The MathWorks, Inc. invites applications for a Senior Financial Analyst on our Finance team.

This hybrid role blends in-office collaboration with flexibility for remote work, supporting financial planning, forecasting, business analysis, and management reporting. You will translate complex financial data into actionable insights for senior leadership, partner with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the accuracy and integrity of financial results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance required or equivalent experience.
• Strong accounting principles and financial reporting knowledge.
• Experience with forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop expense plans and forecasts; analyze business drivers and explain variances.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting; present findings to Finance leadership.
• Validate financial data and strengthen confidence in reporting and forecasting.
• Develop models, analyses, and presentations to support decision making.
• Support the monthly/quarterly close process with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting, planning, and finance processes.
• Collaborate with Finance and business partners across the organization.
