Position Overview

We're looking for a highly analytical, entrepreneurial Senior Financial Analyst to help build the financial foundation of a rapidly scaling company. Partnering directly with executive leadership, you'll guide critical business decisions, evaluate growth opportunities, and build the financial models that shape Zema Global's next stage of growth. You'll own complex analyses across product investments, customer and product economics, and capital allocation, while helping establish scalable FP&A processes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on ambiguity, brings exceptional modeling skills and intellectual curiosity to complex problems, and wants their work to have a direct, visible impact on company strategy.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Build and maintain driver-based financial models that support annual planning, rolling forecasts, and long-range strategic planning
  • Partner with executive leadership to evaluate strategic initiatives, develop scenario analyses, and recommend capital allocation priorities
  • Partner with Product, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Engineering leaders to evaluate business performance and improve investment decisions
  • Build financial business cases for new products, go-to-market investments, and hiring plans, and translate complex analyses into clear recommendations for senior leadership and the Board
  • Design sophisticated financial models that connect operating drivers to financial outcomes, and perform sensitivity analysis and stress testing to support decision-making in uncertain environments
  • Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, identify risks, and quantify opportunities for improvement
  • Solve complex business problems where historical data may be limited, applying thoughtful assumptions and structured analysis
  • Help establish scalable FP&A processes, forecasting methodologies, and management reporting
  • Improve data quality, reporting automation, and analytical capabilities across Finance
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve financial planning and decision support

What You'll Bring

Essential

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field
  • Experience: 5–7 years in FP&A, strategic finance, corporate finance, investment banking, or consulting, with experience supporting high-growth businesses
  • Technical skills: Expert-level financial modeling, with experience building integrated operating and financial models from the ground up
  • Industry knowledge: Strong understanding of subscription/recurring-revenue business models and associated financial metrics
  • Analytical skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous business questions into actionable insights
  • Communication: Strong executive communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership

Desirable

  • Experience in an early-stage or venture-backed high-growth company
  • MBA or other advanced business/finance credentials
  • Experience with FP&A platforms such as Prophix, Adaptive Planning, or Pigment
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and NetSuite
