Transdev in Lombard, IL seeks a finance professional to compile and analyze financial information and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports with limited supervision.

The role includes month-end close accounting entries, variance analysis, recurring reporting, invoicing support, budgeting, forecasting, and training operations teams on financial processes. Requires 4–7 years in finance, accounting, and strong Excel/ERP skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent required.
• CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• 4-7 years of experience in finance and/or accounting.
• Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of Oracle/JD Edwards and Hyperion preferred.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Willingness to travel ~10%.

Responsabilités

• Prepare accounting entries for month end close.
• Support Finance Lead with variance analysis and root-cause analysis.
• Publish recurring reports highlighting areas of concern.
• Provide financial support to finance and operations leaders.
• Assist field with client invoices per contract requirements.
• Assist with annual budget and bid model/pricing for new business.
• Support forecasting with operational drivers and risk factors.
• Provide training to operations teams on financial processes.
• Other duties as assigned.
