• Dive deep into data across AWS to identify opportunities for optimizations, providing actionable insights that directly impact business performance

A day in the life

Your typical day involves diving deep into complex datasets to uncover insights about EC2 Finance. You'll collaborate with business leaders to identify efficiency opportunities, analyzing trends and developing recommendations to optimize resource allocation. You'll participate in cross-functional meetings to present your findings, work on building or enhancing financial models, and partner with stakeholders to implement solutions that drive immediate business impact.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, tax, economics, or a related analytical field
• 3+ years of finance, accounting, or related analytical field experience
• Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence
• 3+ years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience
• 3+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
• MBA, or CPA
• Knowledge of Tableau
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
• 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
• 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
• 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
