Job summary

DataAnnotation is looking for a Finance Expert to evaluate AI-built financial analyses on real corporate scenarios, check valuation assumptions, and author judgments that teach models what defensible finance looks like.

You’ll stress-test three-statement models, trace the reasoning to expose plugged numbers and faulty drivers, and write the defensible analysis when the model falls short. Flexible, remote, and project-based work.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or strategic finance.
• Fluency with modeling: three-statement builds, DCF, and the accounting behind them.
• Clear written English in explanations.
• No degree required; ability to do the work matters more than credentials.

Job description

Models can build a three-statement model that looks clean and still get the mechanics wrong: a balance sheet that doesn't balance, working capital that flows the wrong way, a circular reference silently zeroed out. Someone has to trace the numbers back through the logic, and that someone is you.

As a Finance Expert you'll evaluate AI-built financial analyses on real corporate scenarios, check the valuation assumptions and the accounting behind them, and write the judgments that teach models what defensible finance work looks like.
