Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide month-end support under tight deadlines and assist with year-end accounting closing activities.
2. Backup accounts receivable, accounts payable, and invoicing functions.
3. Ensure financial statements are accurately prepared before closing the accounting period, perform general ledger reconciliations and account analysis.
4. Perform sales revenue analysis by state as needed by the tax department.
5. Assist with the integrity of the closing process for Oracle and JDE systems.
6. Prepare journal entries in accordance with GAAP and company policy; support forecasting and budgeting activities.
7. Generate and analyze reports on P&L and balance sheet, tracking against forecasts.
8. Provide analytical support for business decisions, including product margin analysis, working capital assessment, and risk/opportunity analysis.
9. Support financial forecasting, annual planning, and reporting activities.
10. Complete company self-assessment testing for compliance.
11. Assist with analysis and reporting from corporate productivity trackers.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting from an accredited institution.
• At least 5 years of experience in finance or accounting.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; verification required. No visa sponsorship available.

Ideal Candidate:

• Manufacturing experience is mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; other degrees are not considered.
• Strong Excel skills; Hyperion experience with macros preferred.
• Availability for early morning start (around 6 AM).
